A neighborhood club. A family story. And a whole lot of spots.

The Spot Club is rooted in stories a father told his children in the 1980s, and finally in print for a new generation.

About

The Spot Club

The Spot Club is a children's chapter book for readers ages 7–10, and ANYONE who loves to be read to.  It follows Chip and Hogan, two Dalmatian puppies with a whole lot of spots, as they move into a new neighborhood and discover that the best way to belong somewhere is to look out for everyone around you.

Along the way they meet Rocky the raccoon, Woody the woodchuck, Charles the catfish, and a neighborhood full of animals who are better together than apart.

And then there's Big Bruno....

The Spot Club includes themes of friendship, belonging, second chances, community, and the power of storytelling.

Two Paws Up!

"I read The Spot Club with my 6- and 9- year old daughters, and we absolutely loved it!  This heartwarming story follows two dogs as they make new friends, start a club, and the importance of kindness.  All the characters are so lovable too!  I highly recommend this book for families with younger children, as well as elementary school teachers looking for an engaging story about animals, friendship, kindness and helping others."
